Friday

Malone 59, Brushton-Moira 31
Malone jumped to a 26-13 halftime lead and cruised to a 59-31 win over B-M.  Brittany Marshall led all scorers with 16 points, while Abbey Premo splashed 14 and Erica Johnson delivered 12 points for the winners.  Taylor Keck led Brushton-Moira with 10 points, while Chenice Russell popped in seven points and Katie Tatro knocked down six points.

Malogay 68, Seaway Valley 29
Malogay controlled the game from the start, opening a 36-13 lead at the half and powering to a 68-29 win in their opener.  Allison Johnson led the way with 18 points, while Hayley Poupore added 15 and Lauren LaBare added 11 in the win.  K. Kimball notched eight points and Vanessa Bullock knocked down seven for Seaway Valley.

Madrid-Waddington 44, Chateaugay 39
Madrid-Waddington added to its two-point halftime advantage (21-19), with a solid second half that saw them build a 15-point lead before the Bulldogs bounced back to within five.  Crystal Mouthorp led Madrd-Waddington wtih 13 points, while Sara King added 11.  For Chateaugay, Candace Fowler knocked down 18 points and Katie Hamelin scored 10.

Chazy 48, Seaway Valley 27
Chazy took command of this game in the first half, opening a 26-11 lead at the half, then coasting to a 48-27 victory.  A one-two punch of Alex Jefferds topped the scoresheet with 20 points, while Krista Lucas posted 19 for Chazy.  For Seaway Valley, Michelle Watkins and Shelby Gausby each scored seven points.

Chateaugay 52, Brushton-Moira 42
Chateaugay edged out to a 27-22 lead at the half, then outscored Brushton-Moira 25-20 in the second half to claim the win.  Candice Fowler led all scorers with 17 points, while Katie Hamelin added 14 and Danielle Swanston posted 11.  For B-M, Chenice Russell and Katie Tatro led the way with 13 points each, while Taylor Keck contributed 10 points.

St. Lawrence Central 36, Chazy 29
St. Lawrence Central won its tournament opener, jumping to a 23-15 halftime lead and holding Chazy at arms length the rest of the way for a 36-29 win.  Brittney Tremblay notched 13 points, while Brittney Crump followed with seven and Autumn Irwin's six points.  For Chazy, Krista Lucas led the way with 12 points, followed by Jesse Jesse Burke with eight points and Brittany Goodreau with five points.

St. Lawrence Central 36, Seaway Valley 25
St. Lawrence Central bounced back from a 12-11 deficit at the half to beat Seaway Valley 36-25.  In a balanced attack, Autumn Irwin posted 11 points, while Brittany Crump and Brittany Tremblay each scored 10 points.  For Seaway Valley, Brittany Jones recorded nine points and Kendra Kimball scored six points.

Malogay 57,  St. Lawrence Central 13
Malogay ran away with this game, breaking to a 25-6 lead at the half and a 57-13 win.  Lauren LaBare posted 17 points, while Alyson Johnson listed 18 points in the win.  For St. Lawrence Central, Brittany Tremblay registered a team-best seven points.

Madrid-Waddington 42, Malone 41
Madrid-Waddington built a 24-16 lead at the half, then had to scramble at the end to hang on for a 42-41 win.  For M-W, Stephanie Lancto notched 11 points, Crystal Mouthrop had nine points and Abbey Shoen posted six points.  For Malone, Brittany Marshall posted 10 points, while Johnson had eight points and Sharlow sank seven points.

Brushton-Moira 45, Madrid-Waddington 39
Brushton-Moira's first-half 25-19 lead held up, beating the Madrid-Waddington Stingers 45-39.  For B-M, Chenice Russell led all scorers wtih 16 poitns, while Taylor Keck swished 10 points and Sara Wilcox added five points.  For Madrid-Waddington, Abbey Shoen posted 11 points, while Stephanie Lancto and April Streeter each contributed six points.

Malone 42, Chateaugay 31
Malone had a slim 19-18 lead at the half, but climbed away after intermission for a 42-31 win.  Brittany Marhall's nine points and Erica Johnson's eight points led the way for Malone.  Candice Fowler posted 12 points and Katie Hamelin had 11 points for Chateaugay.

Malogay 47, Chazy 27
Malogay raced to a 26-5 lead at the half, then coasted to a 47-27 win to capture a playoff berth in the championship.  Allison Johnson netted 14 points, while Haley Poupore added 11 and Britany Flick finished with seven points.  For Chazy, Jessie Blake netted 14 points, Krista Lucas had 13 and Brittany Godreau scored 12.

GIRLS 12TH AND UNDER CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Malogay 60, Madrid-Waddington 31
Malogay jumped to a 26-13 lead at the half and coasted to a 60-31 win over Madrid-Waddington to claim the Girls 12th and Under Championship.  Lauren LaBare led the scoring with 17 points, while Haley Pourpore added 10 points.  Crystal Mouthrop led Madrid-Waddington with nine points.
